Dolores Font Cortés, born in Vila-real in 1950, inherited from her mother, the renowned swimwear designer Dolores Cortés, her passion for fashion and an understanding of the ins and outs of running a family business.
Despite having studied medicine, in the mid-1980s she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and enter the world of fashion, retaining her mother’s name in her designs.
In 1999, she made her first appearance on the catwalks of Valencia and has since risen through the ranks of the fashion world, taking part in such prestigious events as Gaudí and Cibeles, where she remains a leading figure.
Her extensive experience and business acumen led her to take up the position of president of both the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community and the Valencian Community Mutual Guarantee Society (SGR), establishing herself as one of the most influential Valencian businesswomen of the moment.
