This year, from 2 to 4 May 2025, Oropesa del Mar will once again be decked out in its finest to welcome visitors and residents to one of the town’s most iconic events: La Trobà. Over this weekend, tradition, culture and entertainment come together to offer a unique experience that continues to captivate people of all ages.
A journey through history and tradition
La Trobà is much more than just an event; it is a journey through time that transports you to the history of Oropesa del Mar.
Over these days, the town’s streets are filled with colour, music and dance, whilst the aromas of local cuisine fill the air.
From morning until night, you can enjoy a wide variety of activities that reflect the cultural richness of the area.
This year, the event will feature an expanded historical re-enactment, including live performances that recount Oropesa’s medieval roots, alongside interactive workshops for the whole family.
A varied programme to suit all tastes
Whether you’re a fan of traditional music, a lover of local crafts or a foodie, La Trobà 2025 has something special in store for you.

🔹 Craft market: Over 80 craft stalls selling handmade products, including ceramics, jewellery and local textiles.
🔹 Local cuisine: Tastings of traditional dishes such as ‘olla de la Plana’, rice dishes and traditional sweets made by local producers.
